Waves of Defiance

Crashing waters, deafening roar,

Chains break loose, hear the warhammer soar.

Heavy waves like thunder collide,

Pulling down where fears reside.

Buried deep beneath the tide,

I fight the flood that wants my life.

Can’t let the darkness pull me under,

Voices in the storm, a growing thunder.

Fight the flood, the rising pain,

I’m breaking free from this chain.
