Answer to my prayer

When I was younger/ A long way before we met

I use to Close my eyes & Ask God if he had found you yet?

For years I waited for his reply

I soaked in the rain and in the Sun I dried

I stood through the pain & not once I cried

I patiently waited for God to show me a sign

Due to my perseverance God finally replied

With a beauty so rare/ never before seen by my eyes

Nothing compares to the beauty I saw

Inside and Out her grace I adore

The wonders of the world try to tempt me with more

But you are everything I asked God for

The blessing I got is this Angel mine

Like a precious jewel from deep inside of mine

And if I can tell you the way that I feel

I'm like a candle light burning when the wind is still.
