Solo in My Heart

Walking solo, but I feel alive,

In this endless city, I thrive.

No chains, no ties, just my own story,

Finding strength, rewriting glory.

I’ve wondered what love could truly be,

Is it a flame or just a memory?

Maybe it’s just a whispered dream,

Fading in the distance, or so it seems.

Insane in my mind, wild and free,

Standing tall, that’s just me.

I don’t need a love to feel whole,

Got my own fire, got my soul.

Love, what does it really mean?

Is it pain or is it serenity?

I’ve been lonely, I’ve been hurt,

But I keep dancing in the dirt.

People come and people go,

In my heart, I let them flow.

Acquaintances, friends I see,

Neighbors in my tapestry.

No more searching, no more cry,

Underneath the vast sky.

Strength is in my solitude,

Finding peace in my attitude.
