I’m older now, everything’s changing

Taking it one day at a time

Staring at this worn-out notebook

No answers, just a mess

Different day but same old feeling

Guitar in hand but strings are broken

Neck worn down from all these years

Is it even worth me playing…

If no one’s gonna hear?

Or should I leave it all behind?

Every step feels like I’m lost…

Notebook worn, the spine is breaking

Pages falling to the floor

Parents yelling in the background…

I can’t take this anymore

All I know is I can’t stay here

Something’s telling me to go

Even if I’m scared of leaving…

It’s the only path I know

Getting worse, they never listen

Say my dreams won’t get me far

Throw my guitar out like nothing…

Like I don’t know who we are

So I turn my back and walk now

Maybe this is for the best

But a part of me keeps fighting…

Even when I’m feeling less

Doesn’t have to be the end

Is it worth it anymore…
