Even though I may not understand it all

I choose to trust you

Even when times are dark and dreary

When my heart is heavy and my eyes are teary

When at times I don’t understand the plan

I choose to trust you.

When I don’t understand why you created me

When times are tough, and I want to give up

When I’ve lost it all, and I feel I’m done

I look to you

and remember all you’ve already brought me through

I choose to trust you on this journey through the good and the bad

I choose to trust you through life’s storms and through the sinking sand

I look to you

I may not see it all but I trust your plan

So I look to you no matter the view
