I Know Who I Am In Christ

You tell me lies.

attack my mind.

Making me think I’m not worthy,

not strong enough to stand in this life.

But I’ve been told,

The mind is a battlefield.

And I’ve got control of what I allow

to take hold.

Devil, you have no place in my life.

I know who I am in Christ.

God’s word let’s me know that

I am loved.

I am worthy.

I am strong.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

When the enemies lying arrows come my way.

I hold up the shield of faith.

You know our weaknesses.

Where we struggle the most.

You try to use my insecurities,

To flood my thoughts.

But I know,

I’ve got God on my side.

He’s given me armor,

to put on daily.

Devil, you are no match for my God,

Or His son, Jesus Christ!
