Lay me down

Now I lay me down to sleep

I praise the lord my soul to keep

And if I shall die before I wake

Extend my love for all to take

Can I be forgiven for my sins

Can I have full pardon

For all the things I judged so poorly

Can I find you in time

Is there a cloud that I can ride

Or is better to be blind

I tried so hard to find my way

And all of the sin I’ve done

Is it a sin to regret my days

Ever spent without you

Forgive me for I cannot breath

I’m chocking on so much sin

And I was a child without a home

Alone so frightened and alone

I was always crying out to you

When I thought my life was through

God save my soul for me

And guide me toward your light

Lord take my sin from me

Am I going to be alright
