Ian turns her back around to face the dark, sparkling horizon, his body flush against her back as he pulls her tight against his chest. His large hand grips the back of her dress, holding the soft fabric taut in a firm, protective hold that leaves no doubt about who she belongs to.
"Ian..." Yuko breathes, her heart hammering against her ribs as she tilts her head back against his shoulder, her breath catching at the sudden, breathtaking intensity in his touch.
Ian leans down, his lips brushing the shell of her ear as he murmurs raspy and low into the night air. "You're not escaping me tonight, Princess. Not on this river, not anywhere."
He doesn't loosen his grip on her dress for a second, keeping her firmly anchored against his heat while his other hand slides gently around her front to rest protectively over her bump. The gentle, rhythmic swaying of the boat over the midnight water fades into background noise as Yuko surrenders to the sheer, magnetic pull of the man behind her, completely wrapped in his strength under the starlit sky.
Yuko lifts her hand, her fingers sliding slowly up the back of his neck and tangling gently into his dark, thick hair. She pulls him just a fraction closer, deepening the connection as the cool river breeze sweeps over the deck.
Ian lets out a low, satisfied rumble against her skin, his hand tightening just a bit more against the fabric of her dress. He turns his head slightly, pressing a series of slow, burning kisses along the curve of her jawline and up to the sensitive spot right beneath her ear.
"You drive me crazy, Yuko," Ian murmurs softly, his raspy voice dropping into a tender, unfiltered confession that cuts right through his usual suave bravado.
Yuko lets out a soft, breathless sigh, tilting her head to give him better access as she arches back into his solid chest. Her fingers massage the base of his neck, feeling the steady tension in his muscles melt away into pure, unadulterated devotion for her and their growing family.
"Good," she purrs back, a triumphant, playful smile gracing her lips. "Because I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon, Black Ranger."
Ian laughs softly against her skin, a low, chest-rumbling sound of pure contentment. He holds her firm against his chest, both of them watching the shimmering reflection of the city lights dance across the dark, tranquil river as the night carries them forward.
With a smooth, decisive motion, Ian shifts his grip, sliding one arm beneath her knees and the other behind her back, scooping her effortlessly up into his arms.
Yuko lets out a soft, surprised gasp, her arms immediately wrapping around his neck to anchor herself as he carries her off the breezy deck and down the short flight of stairs into the boat's private, warmly lit cabin bedroom.
