The People in My Life 3

Thank God for the people He's placed in my way Some for a lifetime Some for a day

The things that I've gained, the things that I've lost they helped me to see you don't count the cost

I know for certain they were there for a reason Sent only by God for life or for season

They taught me to sing, to pray and to love to trust in my heart on all things above

Some have gone and the memories are dear Some that I cherish and love are still here

So, Father I pray, "may I not take for granted the lessons of love. the seeds that were planted

May I always be grateful and know I've been blessed each night when I thank you as I lay down to rest

Lord, may I always be grateful and know I've been blest till my work here is finished And I draw my last breath."
