Hello to goodbye

I feel it's time we break our ties,

I don't want to be the only one who tries,

And so with that it's hello to goodbye.

All the signs are there for us to break, ties I don't want to be the one left to cry. I see in your actions you don't even try.

Out of nowhere my heart and mind grow wings. As I listen to a sweet song that a mocking bird sings. I ponder upon cloudy days and the rain the day brings.

Bombarded in all directions I bear the Golden rule, knowing life makes no exceptions it trips us up for acting fools. Nothing that I have been through has prepared me to lose so I surrender to it all and just let loose.

People unite, people separate.

Under circumstances we call it fate.

Love turns to hate.

It's all about that Perfect mate.

Taxing our being, at a very high rate.

Zealots of a perfect date.

Entering and exiting relationships at a high rate.

Relationships? How does yours narrate.

No use in counting all the lies

Worn and bare

Skies are gray

I’ll find my way
