Beyond the Pain

In the shadows where I dwell,

Every echo casts a spell.

Silent whispers, haunting cries,

In this maze where sorrow lies.

Walking through the misty night,

Heavy heart, no chance for light.

Every step feels like a chain,

Bound to memories of pain.

But deep within there's a spark,

Flickering in this endless dark.

A glimmer of hope, faint and frail,

Can it conquer this endless trail?

Pain, endless pain,

A storm that won't wane.

But if I scream, will the echoes die?

Or will I just learn to fly?

Through the hurt, and through the rain,

I'll rise above this endless pain.

Every tear a drop of rain,

Each one whispers out your name.

Memories, a bittersweet song,

In this heart that feels so wrong.
