Counting down the days, waterswim, winds blow

1920's on the horizon, watch me grow

T minus four months, almost breaking free

From the shadows of the past, reclaiming me

Walked through fire, faced the storm, held on tight

Lost it all, but found my strength in the night

False charges, pain, a heart torn apart

But I kept the hope alive inside my heart

Every step, every fall was a lesson learned

Now I see the dawn, the past is burned

April twenty-second, a date I hold so near

My freedom's calling, loud and clear

From the ashes, I emerge, I’m reborn anew
