Silent phone, the weight is heavy on my mind

Echoes of his name, in the stillness I find

A soldier’s farewell, in the shadow of the dawn

This is the prayer I whisper, for a hero gone

He was tall, a towering grace in a world so cold

Lived by a code, in his heart, a story untold

Battled the unseen, fought for a future he believed

Now silent, he’s resting, in a place we can’t see
