Once upon a time, I was fine

We were fine when you were mine

In my eyes, you were fair

But I was never the fairest, I swear

We did everything, thought it’d last forever

Then they came, and you weren’t mine, never

Ran so far, far away

But still, we couldn’t stay…

They drove us to a cliff, pushed us apart

You fell first, and it broke my heart

I ran to your side, but it wasn’t enough

Now I’m waking up, this pain so tough

In the forest where we lost our way

I heard you scream, tried to save the day

But they found us, broke us down

I can still taste the blood, hitting the ground

You stood so still, surrounded by fear

I held your hand, tried to pull you near

But we both fell, and it all went dark

Now I’m stuck here, with this scar

Screaming out, "Happily ever after, goodbye…"
