Dark Nights and Noises

Silent shadows lengthen, moonlight paints the scene

Lonely wolf's cry breaking through the night unseen

First night of loneliness, no one around

Heart heavy, under starless clouds, feeling bound

Wishing the sun wouldn’t fall, hide from the dark

But when it drops, I feel that familiar spark

Force creeping up, trying to steal my peace

Wild thoughts racing, a battle that won't cease

If I could control this rage inside of me

My nights would glow, peaceful and free

Dark nights, where whispers twist and weave

In and out of dimensions, I believe

Hearing sounds no one else can hear

Battling shadows, battling fear

Conversations with the creator, talking in the night

Seeking answers, searching for the light

Sometimes I hear noises, unseen and profound

Otherworldly echoes without a sound

The look of things, strange and mysterious

In this chaos, I feel delirious

If I could tame the storm within my mind

Maybe peace is what I’d find

Dark nights, where whispers twist and weave

In and out of dimensions, I believe

In the lonely howl of a wolf’s cry

Resonates my soul, I can't deny

Through these dark nights, I fight, I try

Searching for the dawn, reaching high

Silent whispers fade as dawn arrives

Hope returns, and my spirit revives

Until the next dark night, I’ll stay strong

Facing my fears, where I belong
