Changing Ways

Shadows cast beneath the cold, empty sky

Whispers of a place where spirits lie

This place is so cold.

Where people were once sold.

A place still used for humans,

Even if to only transfer them to demons.

My eyes warn me, a silent plea

Time to shift my destiny

Before I fall into despair

And become a spirit anywhere

My eyes are giving me a warning,

Its time I start a changing my ways,

before, I end up that way.

I’m lost right here.

All have a blank stare,

Eyes sorrowful and wide.

It looks as if someone has died.
