Flaming Heart

Through moor and storm, alone I ride

A curse within – of blood and pride

A flaming heart, by hatred burned

Cold creeps in, no lesson learned

The drumbeat pounds in ancient time

A voice from past, both dark and prime

The spirits whisper, raw and low

Mephisto’s shadow starts to grow

Fire in my veins, cold in my stare

I ride with demons – lost to despair

Lucifer sings my final tune

While Satan dances beneath the moon

The heavens weep, my pain takes flight

A flaming heart in endless night

The fog now carries all my sins

In runes the endless tale begins

A chalice full of guilt and flame

A vow that even death can’t tame

The world is frozen in deadlight

But flame still burns, defying night

And yet each spark weighs down my soul

When love has died and leaves a hole

Fire in my veins, cold in my stare

I am the curse that will not break

The darkness now... is mine to take

And when the last spark fades from sight

Only my song remains in night
