I walk through crowds with a smile on my face,
But nobody sees the thoughts I can’t erase.
I say “I’m fine” like it’s an easy thing to do,
While a thousand silent words are breaking through.
Everyone’s talking, but nobody hears,
The weight that I carry, the hidden fears.
I’m searching for a place where I can be free,
A place where someone understands me.I feel like nobody understands me,
Like I’m lost in a world that doesn’t see.
I’m shouting inside, but my voice feels weak,
Looking for the words I’m afraid to speak.
Maybe someday someone will finally know,
The battles I fight that I never show.
Until that day, I’ll keep holding on,
Even when I feel like I don’t belong.
[I’ve been wearing masks that nobody knows,
Hiding the storms that nobody shows.
I wonder if anyone would stay around,
If they heard the thoughts I never say out loud.
I don’t need someone to fix every scar,
I just need someone to see who I am.
Not the version I pretend to be,
But the real person underneath.Maybe I’m not the only one feeling this way,
Maybe there are others fighting every day.
Different stories, but the same lonely road,
Different hearts carrying the same heavy load.I feel like nobody understands me,
But I know there’s a chance someone will see.
The world can be cold, the nights can be long,
But I’ll keep searching for where I belong.
One day I’ll find the voices that say,
“You don’t have to hide yourself away.”
Until then, I’ll keep moving ahead,
Finding the light through the words left unsaid.I’m more than the pain that nobody sees,
I’m more than the silence surrounding me.
Maybe I’m waiting, maybe I’m lost…
But I’m still here, no matter the cost.
