Scars and lessons

I been down, I been lost in the night,

Tryna fight through the pain, but it’s hard in this life.

Scars on my soul, yeah, they cut kinda deep,

Every tear that I shed got a story to keep.

I fell, I broke, I made my mistakes,

People switched up, had to learn from the fakes.

But I rise, I grind, I stand in the storm,

Through the fire, I was bent, but my heart wasn’t torn.

I live, I learn, I been hurt but I’m here,

Ain’t no fear, wipe my eyes, make the pain disappear.

I’m human, I’m flawed, but I’m thankful to be,

Still breathing, still dreaming, still fighting for me.

I fall, I rise, I break, I heal,

I live, I learn, this pain so real.

I ain't perfect, but I’m grateful still,

Through the darkest nights, man, I found my will.

Had to walk through the rain with no one to call,

Had my back to the wall, I was losing it all.

But the lessons hit hard when the struggle gets deep,

Only way I could grow was through grinding with grief.

I seen love turn to hate in a blink of an eye,

I seen brothers turn snakes over money and pride.

But I won’t be defined by the moments I lost,

Every fall that I took came with wisdom and cost.
