I love Dinos

Ancient giants, standing tall,

Mighty shadows on history’s wall.

But now I see, the truth is clear,

My greatest love is still right here.

Dinosaurs, majestic, fierce, and grand,

Echoes of a long-lost land.

Jurassic roars in my mind’s eye,

But they can’t compare to the look in your eye.

They roamed the earth, they touched the sky,

But nothing in the past can compare to why

I love you more, beyond the fossil's trace,

You’re my future, my tomorrow, my present’s grace.

I love dinosaurs, but I love you more,

Not in the ages, but in the core.

Fossils fade and time will pass,

Biggest bones, in riverbeds sleeping,

Lost worlds, forever keeping,

Secrets of the ancient dawn,

But you’re the one I’m forever drawn upon.
