Cruel World

I'm losing faith in the world I see

Ive lost all hope for humanity

Everywhere I look I see cruelty

Is this how it's supposed to be

I feel such pain for the helpless

Abused at the hand of the heartless

Being ignored by the thoughtless

All of this leaving me hopeless

I don't want to live in this world anymore

Where genocide hides in unnecessary war

Where dignity is stolen from the poor

What is there worth living for?

There are no answers to justify

And Nothing that will rectify

It's Pointless to even question why

The guilty will be the first to deny

I feel such pain for the helpless

Where is the humanity
