Chains Are Falling Away

Oh, what a change a day can bring

Chains are falling, I can finally sing

The moment I believed, my soul was set free

No longer bound, now I hold the key

A journey long, the path is steep

But in the shepherd’s care, my soul will keep

Struggles come, I sometimes stray

Yet His love guides me every day

He calls me back, with an outstretched hand

Leads me gently to a promised land

Thank you, Lord, for your amazing love

Sent your Son to lift me from above

The chains are gone, I am made new

Following your way, so pure and true

The road is narrow, the trials are many

But in His grace, I am never empty

Though I face storms, I will not sway

The shepherd’s voice shows me the way

Sometimes I stumble, sometimes I fall

But His mercy covers all

You’re the Good Shepherd, forever near

Your love erases every fear

Guiding me home with gentle care

Forever thankful, I declare

Chains have fallen, I am free

Forever I’ll sing, eternally
