What's the Deal with Mosquitoes?

Oh, nature’s got its mysteries, flying high and crawling deep

From the butterfly’s colors to the secrets that it keeps

God’s butterflies are beautiful, colors in the sun

Giraffes reaching for the sky, just having their fun

Rain falling softly, washing over the land

But the mosquitoes bother, why they gotta be so grand?

Everything’s a wonder, every wing and every tail

But those little pests keep coming, telling a different tale

What's the deal with mosquitoes? Why do they survive?

Flies buzzing all around, are they just trying to thrive?

Nature’s full of beauty and some creatures that we doubt

But I gotta ask again, what's it all about?

Dogs are loyal, birds are pretty in the tree

Worms in the fishing hole, they’re doing what they do free

The lion’s the king, ruling with might and grace

Snake sliding silent, with that elegant pace

Every creature plays a part, in the circle of the earth

Still I can’t help wonder, what’s the purpose of their birth?

In this wild and wondrous world, they’ve gotta find their way

So I’ll marvel at the eagle, and respect the serpent’s glide

But I’ll also wonder, what’s the deal with flies?
