Frozen Shadows in the Desert

In the icy shadow of the night, I run, I run

Footsteps echo where the cold winds hunger for my mind and soul.

Past haunt every step I take

Demons whisper, you can’t retreat, there is no escape,

Frozen sands beneath my trembling feet

Haunted by visions, no mercy from the Eyes that glow in the darkness, spirits unseen

Nightmares living in this cold desert, surrounding my thoughts of my life

Chilled to the bone, yet burning from within

Fighting the demons, can’t let them win

Running through the desert , survival is my goal

In this ghostly wilderness, I lose control

Haunted by the unseen , chasing me down

In the dead of night, I’m gonna drown

Desert of the damned, where angels fear

Struggling to stay alive, year after year

Cracked lips whisper stories of despair

Frozen tears fall without a prayer

Faces shift in sand, they call my name

Echoes of the damned fuel this chase they call a game

As dawn approaches, I collapse, I fall

But the demons wait, they hear my call

In this western nightmare, I survived the frozen dune’s

But the haunted desert forever haunts my dreams
