Hope in the Ashes

Silent streets, shadows creep, a world undone,

Echoes of the past, what we've become?

But in the darkness, a flicker of light,

Hope persists, through the endless night.

Cracked earth beneath our trembling feet,

Once thriving cities, now empty and bleak.

Fallen towers, whispers of despair,

Yet something lingers in the stale air.

Chains of chaos, broken and tattered,

Hearts still beating, spirits unshattered.

From the ashes, a new dawn might rise,

Darkness falls, but hope never dies.

Rise from the ruins, stand tall and free,

Even in shadows, our souls still see,

A future reborn from the depths of fear,

Hope’s resilient voice rings clear.

Zombies march in a relentless tide,

But within us, the fire's alive.

Amidst the chaos, a spark remains,

A whisper of life through the veins.

Through the wasteland, we will find a way,

Light beyond the darkest day.

The fall of man, the rise anew,

Hope is stubborn, and true.
