Okay, please forgive me Father

I know my sins been stacking up

Try not to fold, try not to falter

Sometimes I feel like giving up

But in Him is where I’m strongest

This weight I carry’s more than flesh

I just hope when my time comes

That my own spirit gets to rest

Try to knock me off that path

The one that’s narrow and goes far

They want me to roam abroad

And fill up God’s ole’ cup of wrath

Covered in darkness like it’s tar

Bet Christ will come down with that rod

Striking down any damn demon

All his sheep knows he’ll stand true

Watch for the time or for the season

When our souls will be renewed

Must stay patient for a time

Gotta endure until the end

So you cant quit, you shouldn’t whine

There’s one who’s closer than a friend

And with Him’s who’ll guides me, regardless

Of who demands my flesh to rend

I’ve prayed for Him to take my soul

These wicked spirits leave me dull

Unrighteous deeds drive me insane

At times it feels like I lack power

During those times i never fret

By The Most High they’ll be devoured

With him, i’ll always raise the bet

His new kingdom’s coming down

There’s a new Heaven to be made

So lift your heads and don’t you frown

That deadly price, His son has paid!
