Late Nights

See i’m up late at night 
Contemplating on my life 
Everybody’s doing wrong 
Can’t nobody do what’s right 
Why they hating all on me? 
Filling my spirit up with strife 
I turn to God and read His word 
Yes, in his presence’s where I thrive 
They’re trynna pin me to the wall 
After they stabbed me in the back 
So much pressure built within 
The way they treat me, yeah it’s wack 
Through that fire i’ll stand tall 
God’s by my side, i know i’ll win 
Try to lead a righteous life 
In a dark world that loves to sin 
You know the world has given in 
Into the hands of all that’s dark
It seems like Satans in control 
He’s knocking saints right out the park 
Take a walk, let’s take a stroll 
Just take a look at what’s around 
Evil spirits everywhere
And there is wickedness abound 
Now whatever shall we do? 
It’s really easy to lose faith 
When your life’s falling apart 
You’ll grow impatient and can’t wait 
Working on your situation 
Trynna make yourself a name 
Set your sights on something higher 
You don’t want to take that blame 
There’s a day that comes for all 
Whether you’re righteous or you’re tame
Your very soul will be recalled
Leave behind this wicked flesh 
And become new in His resolve

Think he’s done 
I’ve heard some claiming he’s dead 
There’s so much wickedness around 
I see it’s clouding up their heads 
Filling them with hate and doubt 
But they won’t listen to his sound 
There ain’t much to talk about 
His kingdom’s bound to come around 
A new Heaven will be made 
And a new Earth that’s fresh and fit 
That very place is where He’ll reign 
And show the world he’s had enough 
Ruling with a righteous glow 
The type to take away your pain 
Just for now, life will be rough 
But just endure, dont go insane!
