I like stayin out the way

See i’m just stacking up this bread

Standing outside like everday

Could be laid up with you instead

You fill my head in every way

When you’re away, i’m filled with dread

When i’m alone I turn to God

He’ll set my sights on Him instead

Without a doubt His son’s the way

Yes, He’s the truth and He’s the light

And with that truth I feel okay

I’m in a world covered in blight

When I feel low I read his word

I’m addicted, it’s a crave

I won’t live beside my sword

Cause by my sword I’ll see the grave

I bet He’ll get you through the worst

And even then, it isn’t bad

I bet that any doubt will burst

Cause by His grace, you’ll be left glad

Standing down on all ten

Can’t no demon shake me

Have them look like “Oh man”

When they see they ain’t takin me

See His word is my foundation

Means there ain’t no shakin me

And if a demon wants to try

In Jesus’ name, they’ll lay deceased!

They’re trynna fill our heads with doubt

But they don’t know the God we serve

And with His word they go without

Think they won’t get what they deserve

Say you should learn from your mistakes

But even then, you never learn

You say you don’t have what it takes

So just give Jesus your concern

I bet he’ll take away your doubt

And fill your mind with such an ease

I don’t say these words for clout

When it’s your soul you want appeased

Try to help lift up your sights

Try to open up your mind

Open your heart it’s only right

Open yours eyes, you can’t be blind

I know it’s hard when you feel low

Overcasted by that fear

But if you don’t go take that step

How could he possibly draw near?
