The Daily Struggles No One Warned You About
Adult life is basically just a series of minor inconveniences that slowly crush your soul.
For example, going to bed early because you’re tired… and then lying awake for three hours thinking about that awkward thing you said in 2014.
You buy groceries with a plan. A budget. A list. And yet you somehow come home with snacks, zero actual food, and a deep sense of personal failure.
Your phone battery is at 3%, but your charger is in another room. This is not a small problem. This is a life-or-death situation, and suddenly you understand why people in movies don’t get up when they’re clearly in danger.
You open the fridge 27 times, even though you know nothing new will magically appear. Hope, however, is a powerful thing.
Laundry is a never-ending cycle. You wash clothes. You wear clothes. You ignore the pile. The pile grows. The pile judges you.
And don’t even get me started on “quick naps.” You either wake up refreshed after 20 minutes or wake up four hours later in another dimension, unsure of the year or your own name.
In conclusion: life is hard, pants are uncomfortable, and we’re all just doing our best.
