Cage and coral

My head’s a locked room, walls closing in tight

Thoughts spin like storms, no off switch in sight

Every sound crashes, every light burns too bright

I twist my wrist slow, try to hold on tonight

Words get stuck, tangled, fade away fast

The world’s too much — it never seems to last

But sometimes… something shifts

A quiet door opens, and the colors lift

This mind keeps me trapped, yeah it chains me down

But it shows me wonders no one else has found

Under the waves, where the noise finally fades

I see the coral bloom in electric shades

Beauty in the deep, vivid and true

The cage turns to freedom when the water pulls through

Weightless, alive, heart beating slow

In the ocean’s arms, I finally know

I’m not just trapped — I’m built to see

All the hidden light inside of me

Patterns everywhere, lines that no one else traces

Every ripple, every shadow finds its places

It hurts when it floods, when the overload hits

But down in the blue, it all makes sense, bit by bit

Salt on my skin, pressure hugging my bones

The chaos quiets — I’m not alone

The deep calls soft… like it always knew

This mind that traps me… also breaks through
