Echoes of yesterday, shadows fade away

Time's gentle hand today

Walking through the ashes of what used to be

Memories linger, but I set them free

Broken ties, false friends that I must leave behind

New dreams call me, a clearer path to find

Moving on from the pain, no more tears to hide
