Too Tired

The morning comes, but I don’t move

My body’s heavy, bruised and used

Even breathing feels too hard

I’m falling through the hours

I’m so tired

Everything hurts

The world keeps living

While I just get worse

Time keeps slipping

I can’t keep pace

I’m stuck here fading

While life runs away

People laugh and pass me by

I lie still and wonder why

Even simple things feel miles

I’m wasting all my days

I’m so tired

Nothing left inside

The world keeps spinning

I stay behind

Minutes vanish

I can’t be saved

Too tired to fight
