Rising From the Ashes

Yeah, I’m rising from the ashes, stronger than before

Lost but finding my way, I’m healing more and more

Once I stood tall, confident and proud

Walking through life like I owned the now

Then she arrived like a sudden storm

Shattered my peace, left me torn

Her words like daggers, her actions worse

Every day a battle, buried in my curse

Manipulation, gaslighted, feeling blind

Lost my footing, I was losing my mind

But now I see through the pain

There’s sunlight after the rain

One piece at a time, I rebuild

Bit by bit, I refuse to yield

I’m a survivor, I’ve come through the fire

Rising from the wreckage, lifting higher

Standing alone, yet feeling alive

Breaking the chains, I will survive

No permission needed, I’ve claimed my space

Walking forward, finding my grace

The past may haunt me, but I won’t stay down

Today I wear victory, no longer bound

Yeah, I used to be that man, now I’m something new

A survivor, a fighter, seeing life through a clearer view
