Love Like Christ

Yeah, gotta love like the scripture say,

Ephesians 5:25, lead the way.

Listen up, I got a story to tell,

'Bout being a husband and doing it well.

Husbands, love your wives, that’s the command,

Sacrifice and serve, gotta take a stand.

Like Christ loved the church, with a pure heart,

Loving selflessly, that’s the start.

Tender, kind, patient, and true,

Leading with love, and staying brand new.

Moral, loyal, faithful, stand tall,

Being the man who loves through it all.

Hold it down, show respect, give your all,

Love her deeply, answer her call.

Guard her heart, lead with patience and grace,

In the mirror of Christ, see His face.

Protect her spirit, uplift her soul,

A husband’s role, it’s His divine goal.

Be the man she looks up to, shining bright,

In the dark, be her light, be her knight.

Love like the biblical way, never sway,

Through the storms and the sunny days.

Being a good husband, it’s testimony,

Living love, that’s the ownership.

So remember the scripture, keep it tight,

Love her as you fight the good fight.
