It was sunflowers and roses

It was sunflowers and roses in that field next to the house . Was a sunshine morning . Dads out on the garage listening to Hank Williams jr working on the car . Asked me at breakfast if I could give him a hand . We stayed up all day didn't get done fixing that old mustang till 6 am . We had grease all over are clothes. Mom was upset and told us to shower. Was a nice beautiful day . Mom asked me to help Cindy with the garden then to get some rest after. Next morning Mr Richards came over to the house. Asking for help with he's tractor and that he couldn't get it started. so me and day went over and got that thing to fire on up . We laughed and drank a cold one after the week we had I think we deserved one. We poured some drinks back to back . The next morning dads nowhere to be found. I look all over the place tripping over my own two legs . I get to the garage and Dad's passed over on the mustang I grew up with . He's blue on the face and isn't moving. They said he passed away from a heart attack. My world shattered into a million pieces. now I'm stuck without a dad and he's mustang . Now all I see is sunflowers and roses
