Am I too far gone for you to care?

I’ve been mean, unforgiving and full of lies

I know I’m not worthy as I’m praying towards heaven’s open skies

I don’t like who I’ve become and how I’m always mad

Please lift my downtrodden spirit and make me no longer sad

I thought about taking my life this very day

help me to overcome the devil who makes me feel this way
