[Verse 1]
Mike G sat down at the kitchen light
Coke g1 warm, but he’d been up all night
Clickin’ boxes, signin’ lines, every field just right
For his little girl’s Dr, he was ready to fight
That pdf took a piece of his soul
Scrollin’, typin’, tryin’ to stay in control
Finally hit print, sat back with a sigh
That printer hummed, Mike thought "we’re alright”
[Chorus 1]
But life don’t print like you want it to
Sometimes it jams when you need it to move
1 page left & the light turns amber
& suddenly you’re spiralin’ in paperless anger
Yeah Mike G learned what every man sees
When tech turns traitor & brings you to your knees
It ain’t about ink, it ain’t about speed
It’s about 1 last page… & a little bit of need
[Verse 2]
That Epson blinked like it knew his pain
“1 page left, now I’m stoppin’ again”
He checked the shelf where the paper should be
Just dust & regret where a ream used to be
He tore through the house like a man possessed
Closets, drawers, every corner a mess
He dropped in a chair, hands on his face
30 minutes gone, not a second to waste
Then outta nowhere, like a miracle sign
A flash of white in the corner caught his eye
1 single sheet like a gift from above
He grabbed it up with a desperate kind of love
Fed it in slow, held his breath tight
“C’mon now printer… just do this 1 right”
[Chorus 2]
But life don’t print like you want it to
Sometimes it stalls when you need it to move
Progress bar spinnin’ like a runaway train
& every damn second just adds to the pain
Yeah Mike G’s patience was runnin’ thin
Stuck in a loop he couldn’t break out of within
It ain’t about time, it ain’t about speed
It’s about 1 last page… & a desperate need
[Verse 3]
That Windows wheel just kept spinnin’ round
No sound but silence, no progress found
He grabbed that printer, ready to throw
All his frustration ready to blow
But then he stopped mid-breath
Thought about Bear & that friendship he kept
[Bridge 1]
“Is he on vacation?” Mike whispered low
“Man takes more time off than I even know”
But luck was with him, Bear was around
Two rings later, salvation was found
Mike told his story, words pourin’ fast
Every ounce of anger from present to past
Bear just listened, calm as could be
Said, “Open task manager.. trust me.”
[Verse 4]
Restart that spooler, take it slow
Sometimes you gotta stop it to make it go
Mike clicked & waited, heart in his chest
That printer came alive like it passed a test
That last page rolled out clean & bright
On the last sheet he had left in sight
His anger faded like a storm rollin’ through
Replaced by relief & a friendship so true
[Chorus 3]
Yeah life don’t print like you want it to
But sometimes a friend pulls you through
When the system fails & you’re losin’ your mind
There’s always a fix if you know where to find
Mike G made it, just under the wire
With 1 last page & a heart full of fire
