Gluttony is looking for satiation from the world. Trying to fill holes made for spirit with material things. Gluttony is losing the forest for the trees. It isn't wrong for your soul to burn with passion, but whats the point in turning that flame to a house fire? Wrath is a cry for justice from the mouth of a liar. Trying to right wrongs with those who aren't at fault. Wrath is punishing those trying to heal you for the assault. It isn't wrong to feel pleasure, but whats the point of experiences with no companion who shares? Lust is false connection spoken in moans and swears. Trying to chain two links that refuse a real opening. Lust is connection with no vulnerability. It isn't wrong to rest, but whats the point if you never wake up? Sloth isn't rest its to wait for the answer to every if, and, or, but. Trying to prolong seasons that are meant to end into something eternal. Sloth is the misunderstanding that rest should be idle. It isn't wrong to desire achievement, but whats the point of a victory unearned? Greed is an unsustainable blessing because of lessons unlearned. Trying to use that which you have no knowledge of. Greed is stolen achievement in replacement of love. It isn't wrong to see the blessing of others and desire your own, but whats the point in blessings experienced alone? Envy is sugar turned to salt. Trying to replicate a taste it doesn't know. Envy is to drag another down and always be below. It isn't wrong to value your identity, but whats the point if you're the only one? Pride is setting your body on fire. Trying to snuff and replace the sun. Pride is to sacrifice the blessing of grace and replace it with empty praise. Gluttony is when you never let a good thing settle before you need another. Wrath is when you value justice over giving grace to your brother.
