Alarm clock yelling like it’s got a bone to pick

Phone full of problems I ain’t opening yet

Coffee tastes better when I drink it slow

World can wait, I put it on hold

Neighbor’s got plans, I got none today

Wearing yesterday’s jeans in a brand-new way

Everybody rushing like they’re late for a train

I’m on the platform smiling, waving anyway

Maybe I should worry, maybe I should care

But the sun hit my face and I stopped right there

Feet on the floor, still feeling alright

If this is wrong, don’t fix my life

News says panic, streets say run

But my ceiling fan says “stay a while, son”

Still found a good mood in a cereal box crack

I know tomorrow’s gonna ask for more

But today’s not knocking on my door
