Walking along the edge of fate

I see the shadows cast by hate

The wind it whispers what's at stake

Will I be free or just a fake

I see the valley far below

A sign that tells me where to go

The cliffs they ask me give a show

Should I keep walking or let go

On the edge of this dark ridge

I feel the pull of that old bridge

Want to spread my wings and fly

Leave behind this hollow sky

The emptiness it calls my name

The whispering wind fuels the flame

I grapple with my equals blame

Is life just some unwinnable game

The void beneath it wants to claim

The essence of my tattered frame

But darkness doesn't own my name

I won't be part of this dark game
