Hope in Shadow

Shadows fall, but I stand tall

Light breaks through the storm's call

Deep in the hollow where echoes reside,

A voice whispers softly, a promise inside,

A lighthouse in the tempest, steady and bright,

Guiding my footsteps through the darkest night.

Chains of despair trying to hold me down,

But His promises are my solid ground.

Broken, but healing by His grace,

Rising above, I see His face.

Shining like a beacon through the midnight rain,

Overcoming darkness, conquering pain,

His love is a fortress, unbreakable and vast,

In the storm of life, His promise lasts.

Mountains of fear seem too high to climb,

Yet His words are the sacred rhyme,

A river of hope flowing endlessly,

Carrying me where I long to be.
