Beyond

Yeah, I was lost in the dark, tryna light my own way,

Chasin’ dreams that faded every night, every day.

Heart full of scars, heavy weight on my soul,

Tried to fill the void but it was never enough though.

Then I heard His name, felt peace in the storm,

Grace hit my life, yeah, it changed my form.

From chains to freedom, from guilt to truth,

New life in Christ, yeah, that’s living proof.

I walk by faith, not sight, every step I take,

God on my side, yeah, I know I’ll be safe.

From the cross to the crown, He paid my price,

Jesus saved my life — yeah, Jesus saved my life.

I don’t claim perfection, I still fall short,

But His mercy brand new, yeah, that’s my support.

Bible on my phone, prayer on my lips,

Armor of God when the pressure hits.

Enemy whispers lies, tryna pull me back,

But the Word cuts deep like a holy attack.

Kingdom mindset, I ain’t livin’ for fame,

Everything I do, yeah, I do in His name.
