It seems like life gets us all down sometimes,
The weight of the world can blur all the lines.
But we can’t become that faceless man,
Just drifting through life without a plan.
Don’t wear that frown like a permanent mask,
We’re more than the pain; we’re stronger than the past.
Lift your head — it’s a brand new day,
Let kindness be the words we say.
If you see that faceless man, say “Hello.”
Ask him softly, “How are you, though?”
You never know—you just might give
That faceless man, a new face or a glow.
We all project what we hold inside,
But I know that’s not what we want to hide.
A smile can break what silence has built,
And heal a soul that’s drowned in guilt.
Tear drops and frowns—we wipe them away,
Turn them around, let them brighten the day.
It’s not a weakness to reach out first,
Sometimes one word can quench a thirst.
If you see that faceless man, say “Hello.”
Ask him softly, “How are you, though?”
You never know—you just might give
That faceless man, a new face or a glow.
We are all just mirrors in the rain,
Looking for faces to ease the pain.
It only takes a moment’s grace,
To help a stranger find their face.
If you see that faceless man, say “Hello...”
“How are you?” might be all he needs to know.
You never know...
You never know...
