Queen, stand up.
I came from the struggle, but the struggle never made me,
It just built a stronger woman, it never could break me.
Had to learn real quick how to stand on my own feet,
Life throwing hard punches, but I refused defeat.
I’m a queen, not because of a crown on my head,
Because I got back up every time life left me for dead.
Every tear, every scar, every lesson, every loss,
Made me wiser, made me stronger, showed me who was really boss.
Lost the love of my life, yeah, that pain runs deep,
Still some nights I hear his voice when the world falls asleep.
But a queen keeps moving, keeps her head held high,
Carries love in her heart while she reaches for the sky.
Spent years lifting others, teaching kids how to believe,
Planting seeds for tomorrow, giving more than I received.
Never needed attention, never needed the spotlight,
Just wanted to do good and sleep peaceful at night.
Now I’m stepping into chapters that I never saw before,
Finding strength in my healing, opening brand-new doors.
Traveling the world, dancing like nobody’s watching me,
Living proof that freedom starts when you finally choose to be.
See, loyalty means something, honesty means more,
Integrity ain’t a slogan, it’s what you stand for.
I don’t chase validation, I don’t beg to belong,
I’d rather walk alone than stay somewhere I’m not strong.
I worked hard for my peace, so I protect it every day,
Not everybody gets access, not everybody can stay.
If you’re bringing drama, negativity, or games,
You can keep that over there, I ain’t entertaining names.
Fifty-something and thriving, let me make it understood,
I’m not slowing down now, baby, life is still good.
Got wisdom in my spirit, got fire in my soul,
And every year I’m becoming an even better version of the whole.
So here’s a toast to the women rebuilding after the pain,
To the ones who got knocked down and still got up again.
We’re not waiting for permission, we’re not waiting to be saved,
We’re queens writing our stories, and we’re powerful, not afraid.
Queen energy.
