Dark days, buried in the mist like memory's crypt,

Haunted by the shadows, my mind's still eclipsed,

Cold grip on the soul, steel chains been snatched,

Rain falling hard, heavy thoughts unmatched.

Rusty old chains, dragging down my dreams,

Faded old pictures, unravel at the seams,
