Poisoned Victory

I only see the wreckage…

It was meant to end, yet it lingers.

I struck down the ghost that haunted me,

but now its shadow covers the world.

That history, my flaw turned to venom.

It spreads, it consumes, and it stains my name.

I swore I’d break free, but in the end,

I became the monster they always claimed I was.

You said I lost, you said I'm filth,

and now they curse me a thousand times more.

Is this what I wanted?

To drown the world in my own poison?

And they are right—this was my doing.

But does that mean I deserved to be this cursed?

How wretched, how vile,

this isn’t the justice I wanted at all.

Yet, their screams remind me:

"I should have never existed!"
