Fourteen Days to Freedom

Two weeks left, I see the light at the end,

A journey through the storm, I can finally bend.

Celebration's in the air, I can feel it near,

Walking out with my head up high, shedding all my fear.

Two years of struggle, battles in my mind,

Truths uncovered, stories intertwined.

From broken to found, through the pain and the tears,

Now I stand tall, releasing all my fears.

They said I wouldn't make it, but I proved them wrong,

In the harshest winter, I stayed strong.

Got knocked down, but I rose again,

This is my story, my truth, my reign.

Walk out the door, with a smile so wide,

Freedom in my step, no more need to hide.

From the darkness to the dawn, I finally see,

The best is yet to come, for me, for me.

Lost in the chaos, found my way back home,

From rejection to love, now I own my throne.

14 days to freedom, catching my breath,

A new chapter begins, leaving behind the past.
