Little sister sits in her quiet room.
She Paints sunsets hoping it will chase away the tears.
She looks out her window, lost in her memories, of when he was still here.
Sometimes when she turns around, she can catch him standing there.
She wishes he was here, because tonight, she feels the fear, of how she'll get through without him near.
He will always be her Best friend. If she listens long enough, she can hear his laughter, echoing in her ears.
Her heart’s heavy knowing his voice is now just a memory.
She'll never let go. She will always hold his love tight.
The world outside seems so far away. As she sits in her small corner, painting Sunsets, she fades to gray.
[chorus]
At night she can hear her brother whisper, "little sister don't drift too far" "You’ll be alright,", "just Hold on tight." "The sky may seem like it's gonna fall, but I'll always be right here. I'll never forget you, you'll never be alone."
She now smiles through her tears, knowing someday they will be sitting together, laughing and watching that sun set again, just like when he was here.
Their bond is what has kept her strong. By the end of each and everyday,
she misses him so. Until that day comes she sits in her quiet room, painting beautiful sunsets.
