Wake up to a war in my head

Can’t find the thread, can’t make the bed

Start five things, never finish one

And the day’s already on the run

Try to hold still, but the chaos hits

Thoughts like fireworks that never quit

It’s not that I don’t try — I swear I do

But my mind’s got a mind of its own too

They say "get it together"

Like I haven’t tried forever

I’m running uphill in the rain

But I keep showing up through the strain

I’m dancing in the static, trying to breathe

Caught in the rhythm, tangled in me

Focus fading like a song too fast

Stuck in the moment, lost in the past

But I’m still standing, come what may

In this scatterbrain symphony, I’ll find my way

There’s a spark, then it disappears

Left chasing ghosts and fighting fears

My hands are full of empty starts

My floor's a map of broken parts

Some days I’m lightning in my chest

Other days I just need rest

But no one sees the war I fight

Just the smile I wear too tight

They say “just focus,” yeah, real nice

Like I ain’t paid that cost twice

But I’m learning how to bend, not break

Even if the world won’t wait
