Johnny brought the biscuits out, golden, crisp, and round,

Polly filled the teapot full, her friends all gave a cheer.

Everyone took careful sips, and stopped to think.

They talked about their favorite games, the songs they loved to play,

And promised they would meet again another sunny day.
